A reprieve!

Yay! Just when I think that things are at their lowest (witness my last post) God hands me a gift. After typing that last post out and feeling so stressed and worried, I headed home to get ready to go out of town to visit Rusty's family. I had been up much of the night coughing and had a lingering cough that sounded a bit like I had become a hardened smoker in the last 24 hours. When I got home, Rusty commented that I sounded and looked bad (thanks Baby!) and had me go to Urgent Care. I was diagnosed with nothing, but returned home feeling crappy. Then, a miracle occurred. My husband offered to take the kids without me and let me stay home and recover since it's no fun to travel when you're sick. Hallelujah! (Picture bells ringing, birds singing, fireworks exploding, you get the idea). So I got to spend the weekend in my very quiet house, finished my shopping, and wrapped every last Christmas present and had them under the tree when the kids got home. Even in the darkest night, there always shines a small bright light. And it's true.
