Alrighty then. Guess that was the problem.

So, those who have been following my yard saga will be pleased to know that today brought some answers to the question of why do I keep flooding. Exhibit A, if you will.

Note the black pipe to the left of the picture that was supposed to be carrying water away from my house. Well, it wasn't. And for several reasons, not the least of which being Exhibit B.
The pipe was full of holes. The pipe they used was for draining water, not carrying water. There was also a larger hole in it, plus, it was flowing uphill, not graded down, and everyone knows that water can't flow uphill. So, it has now been replaced with Exhibit C, a correct example.
And one final note. Here is Exhibit D, a lovely example of how everything should tie together.
And Exhibit E, Jim's version.
Yeah, that's duct tape. Pretty effective, huh? Thank you once again, Jim Gibson, of Eagle Place Homes. I am blown away by your attention to detail and the pride you take in a job well done. It will continue to serve you and your find company well into the future.
